Big Changes Ahead: Say Goodbye to HubSpot Insights (and Hello to What’s Next)
HubSpot Insights is retiring on March 17, 2025. Learn what this means for your workflows and discover the best data enrichment tools like Apollo.io and Breeze Intelligence to keep your CRM running smoothly.
HubSpot Insights is changing
We’re bringing you some important news about a shift happening in the HubSpot universe. Starting March 17, 2025, HubSpot will officially stop supporting HubSpot Insights, the handy-dandy tool that automatically enriches your company records for free.
I know—you’ve got big feelings about this, right? Me too. Let’s take a breath, sip our coffee (or tea), and dive into what’s changing and how you can keep your workflows running smoothly.
What’s Happening?
For those of you who’ve been using HubSpot Insights to automatically enrich company records (like adding industry, location, or revenue data), here’s the scoop:
- The good news: Your existing HubSpot Insights data will stay put. Plus, company names will still automatically populate based on domain names.
- The not-so-good news: HubSpot Insights will no longer enrich new company records automatically. If you want new records to sparkle with enriched data, you’ll need to do it manually—or check out HubSpot’s shiny new offering, Breeze Intelligence (more on that below).
- The Intelligence tab stays: This gem on company records will still give you great insights. You’ll just need to enter the data manually when creating new records.
Do you use any of these company data points? Here's what you may be losing
- Annual revenue
- City
- Country
- Description
- Facebook company page
- Industry
- Is public
- LinkedIn bio
- LinkedIn company page
- Name
- Number of employees
- Phone number
- Postal code
- State/Region
- Street address
- Street address 2
- Time zone
- Total money raised
- X account handle
- Web Technologies
- Website URL
- Year founded
Why This Matters for You
If you’re using lists, workflows, lead scoring, or lead routing that rely on HubSpot Insights, this change could impact how things function. Properties like industry, annual revenue, or location won’t auto-update anymore, so:
- Your lists or workflows might not work as expected.
- Lead scoring and routing rules could get wonky if they depend on data HubSpot Insights previously filled in.
Pro tip: Go ahead and audit any automations, workflows, or scoring rules now to ensure they’ll keep running smoothly post-March 17, 2025. Need some help? We are here to guide you through this.
